Loli(ta)lk - Report: Anime Matsuri - The Grand Tea Party (20.06.2015)

Saturday (20.06.15) Day 2 - Main-Event!

The Event on Saturday started - as planed for the VIP-Guests- on 11 am.
When I bought the Tickets I was not sure, if the VIP-Ticket would be worth the extra money, but after the event I can say "Yes, it defnitly was!".

The VIP Guests where allowed to enter the Event-Location one hour earlier at 11 am (normal guest at 12 pm). Therefore the VIP-Guests had the chance to start shopping  on hour earlier and had the complete range of Items, that the Seller brought to the Event. I'm certain, that the matching umbrella for my Meta-Dress would have been sold, if I hadn't been one of the first person at the stall.
I also bought two Headdresses, a TokiMeki Ring, a TokiMeki Necklace and a Sweet&Tiny Necklace (a violine with crown on it).

TokiMeki Necklace and Ring
We where all very disappointed, that Krad Lanrete did not have a stall. We all assumed, that there would be a extra Stall from Krad Lanrete, but the Brand only send two dresses for the Fashion Show. Too bad....

The next point, that made the extra money for the VIP-Ticket worth, was the reserved seat. A lot of the normal guest did not had the luck to get one of the few free seats so they had to stand at the whole event...that means 6 Hours!! I feelt sorry for them, when I heard this.

And as I already told you in my first report, the VIP-Guest received a goody bag (much larger then the bag for the normal guests). Here you can see, what was in it:

Content: A lot of Post-Cards, a Victorian Maiden Stand-Mirror and Putumayo Socks (there were different colours: Withe, Black and Red, but we could not choose). And the Bag itself, was also very pretty (the same bag, we already received on Friday).

Beside the Shopping of course there was again a speech from John Leigh, a Q&A Round with the Special Guest and a raffle, like we had it the Day before. Unfortunately the raffle was splittet throught the whole day. This was a bit annoying, because some People (me as well) wanted to go out and take some Pictures, but the chance was to big, that we might miss the next round of the ruffle, if we do so. After the main price was raffled, we thought "It's finally over, we can go out and take some Pictures", but we were wrong. Maybe we missed a price, but we didn't care.

A other really annoying thing was the food. The food was good, but it was undercharged. A lot of people had nothing to eat! Not good! For the drinks we received two coupon. One for a non-alcoholic and one for a alcoholic drink. As far as I know the normal guests received only one coupon für a non-alcoholic drink..and that on a Event during Summer!! Hello?
Okay it wasn't very warm at that time, but what would have happened if it would have been 30° ?

Today Misako was wearing Dark Night Guardian from Metamorphose with Cape and Bonnet, which she also presentet on the Fashion Show:
Misako Aoki
The Fahion-Show was great. I could try to descibe it, but I found a video on youtube, that shows you the dresses:

And this was the End of Day 2 and the first international Lolita-Event in Germany. Of course not everything went right. But if I look back, I can say that I'm happy, that I was a Part of this Event.
Try to find me! ;-)

Here are some YouTube Videos I found for you:

Loli(ta)lk - Report: Anime Matsuri - The Grand Tea Party (19.06.2015)

First of all:
I'm so sorry that you had to wait that long, but here is the first Part of my Report!

Getting started!

Well there was a lot going on befor the Tea Party. I sat on my bed on Thursday evening. Everything was packed and I thought, it would be a good idea to check the Facebook Page and see, if everythings going its planed way.

Oh dear!!!!

There was a post from John Leigh! He, his wife and the special Guest missed their flight at Istanbul and will not reach Hamburg befor 19.06. -  11 am. Therefore the Event will be shifted by 2 hours.
I didn't followed the complete Comments but belive me, there was a lot going on! I understand, that this delay caused Problems for a lot of People, but for me it was very helpful.
The delay gave me the time I needed to get ready for the Tea Party. You have to know, that I arraived in Hamburg on Frieday: 10:30 am. I had to get to Hotel, check in, find my room, make styling and make-up, get dressed and finaly go to the event location...
I would have never NEVER made until 12 o'clock, so the unexpected delay was just right for me!

Friday (19.06.15)

The first Problem at the Tea Party? Finding the Tea Party! I reached the Rathaus Hamburg by underground train. Outside the Rathaus...no Lolita anywhere! Inside the Rathaus...no Lolita anywhere! I got really nervous! Maybe this was the wrong place! Damn! I asked a Man at the Information Point inside the Rathaus, but he could not tell me where the Tea Pary is. Obviously he did not know anything about this Event.
Finally I found a entrance to a Restaurant that is located in the Basement of the Rathaus. I looked though the glas-door and saw LOLITAS!! Yes!

Anime Matsuri reserved a seperated Room at the Restaurant where we had our "privacy" and our own waiter. The Room was already crowded with beautifuuuuul Lolitas, when I arrived. It was really hard to decide where to look first. It was like "Oh she looks sooo beautiful! Oh I like this dress! Oh this Coord is amazing!"
I found a free seat at the table where some of the girls of my community where already sitting.

The Event started with a short speech from John Leigh. He introduced himself, his wife, some People of the Organisation and appologized for the delay of the Event. Of course he also introduced the special guests: Misako Aoki, Aya Nimura (Victorian Maiden), Chinatsu Taira (Metamorphose Temp the Fills) and Gabriel (TokiMeki)!

On this Day Misako was wearing Metamorphose x Barbie Ribbon JSK. It is a limited Edition, that was only available in Tokyo. Doesn't she look super cute??

John finished his speech and opened the buffet, because everyone was hungry. The food was really good and there was enough for everyone. Tea was also included in the ticket price, everything else had to be paied addional.

This was our table. What do you think? Looks good, right? ;-)

You might wonder, if we didn't received a goody-bag. Of cause, we did. Here is a Picture of the content (we received a second bag on Saturday and I packed everything together in on bag. Because of this, I might mixed the post cards of both days).

Content: A lot of post cards, a pin with Midori on it, a Cameo and a little Towel from Victorian Maiden.

After everybody got something to eat (by the way, the speical guest got a huge plate of fries), there was a Q&A with the special guests.
Poppy Noir was sooo cute. She asked Aya Nimura from Victorian Maiden, if they are planing to make different sizes of their Dresses, because she loves the Dresses of the Brand, but she does not fit in them. The Answer was: Yes they are thinking about it and planing something in that way. At the End Poppy Noir started to cry, because she was so nevoues and this question meant so much to here. I can totaly understand here. I also love VM-Dresses, but there is no chance for me, to fit in them. Thank you Poppy-Noir for asking!

After that, everybody got the chance to make pictures with the special guests and finally there was a signing session with Misako.
Whe had to change the room at the restaurant for the signing session. I entered the room and thought "Wow, this is amazing!"

I got my autographe on KERA! Vol. 201. Misako was on the Cover of this KERA!. I also wanted her to sign my Instax on the back, but finally I didn't asked for this, becaus the pen she used was not practical to write on plastic.

Of course we had to make a Group-Picture at the End of the Event and if you think "That many People?" Ha ha, wait for my Report of Day 2!

Of course I could tell you more, but I think, this was enought text now ;-)
